The Low Cost Food Program provides financial relief to individuals while they shop for discount food on a monthly basis.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance-VITA/Earned Income Tax Credit-EITC
Trained by the IRS, HOPES CAP, Inc. tax preparers assist individuals with learning about and receiving special credits, such as Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child Tax Credit, and Credit for the Elderly while filing their taxes.
Utility, Phone, and Water Assistance
HOPES CAP, Inc. is a registered application site for the New Jersey Statewide Heating Assistance and Referral for Energy Services (NJ SHARES), Verizon, and Safelink Wireless. NJ SHARES offers financial assistance to customers who find themselves unable to pay their home-heating and/or water bills. Verizon Communications makes residential telephone service more affordable by offering Communications Lifeline and Link Up America services for qualified customers and Safelink offers discount wireless service.
The New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection (NJ CEED) Program
As a contracted Outreach Agency, HOPES CAP, Inc. provides comprehensive outreach and education to individuals regarding screening services for breast, cervical, prostate, and colorectal cancers.
